I did it...(Foglight mod)

I didnt splice any wires, I just trimmed the plastic ring so I could pull it out in the automatic position. I tested it now that its dark out, and it does just what I wanted it to (being able to have my fog's on and not forgetting to turn them off). My question now is, whats the whole point of splicing the wires? Im not so sure. Please let me know.

splicing the wires is instead
of messing with the switch.
you could have done one or the other.

Chickenears,

Id post a pic but no camera. All I did was follow the instructions of the guide someone had written. The end result is that I wont forget to turn my lights off because I had to put the lights to auto to put my fogs on. Now it will sit in the automatic position and ill never have to worry about it again.
