Unhappy I went to the track

I saw two L (silver and silver) but the one ran 15.xxx and the other ran 14.xxx whats up with that. We are at about 5,000 feet altitude.

Altitude will cut your times significantly (as well as heat).

Most of the folks running the really low numbers are doing so within a few hundred feet of sea level.

Pay attention to the MPH when you are looking for how well a vehicle is running. MPH is a better indicator of how much hp a vehicle is making. You may see a fast vehicle run a slow et because of traction problems but you will NEVER see a slow vehicle run a big mph - traction problems or not.

If you raced at Bandimere, the altitude correction factor for ET is .9508 to equate to sea level. The MPH correction is 1.0563. It's pretty accurate.

My corrected ET from LACR was 13.11 to sea level. The track is at 2700' above. My acutal ET at Carlsbad was 13.11. Carlsbad is about 60' above sea level.
