Question about tinting

I was woundering how much you can tint the windows without the cops giving you too much hastle

depends on where you live..every state has different laws.....JR

in my state any tint is illegal on the front windows unless u have a prescription

I think it more or less depends on the individual officer in your area whether or not he bothers you about tint.

The local and county cops in my area have pretty dark tint on their windows. Looks to be about 20%. Dont think I'll be getting bothered by them about how dark my windows will be.

FuB stte laws are different

In ga., you can get a legal compliance sticker from tint installer, so cops won't bother you. TintersWILL NOT put this sticker on illegal tints.

If you do get pulled over, for whatever reason, and you have tinted windows... roll them down. If it is at night, also turn on the dome light and keep your hands visible at all times. This will put the cop more at ease, and he/she might not hassle you about the tint.
