Just got my first F'in ticket

ok so i was driving my L behind this old civic that was doin about 30 in a 40 zone. so i go for the pass. got around him and pulled up to the light. the next thing i see in the rearview was a nice fat good Ol' California Highway Patrol who are some of the most uptight people out there and have nothing else to do except writing tickets to teenagers. o yah he also pulled the window tint trick and got me for that one. suprised he didnt get me for the exaust!! i dont think ive ever been in the presence of such a ******* in my whole life. well im still pretty steamed cause it was only an hour ago so i think ill go punch my wall a few times

eh, like with all tickets its worth a try to go fight it!

as soon as you're done punching your wall (I did the same thing when I got my first and than second ticket) relax a bit, wait till the last day to call to plead not guilty (stretch your time) and go in to talk to the prosecutor. If you were speeding the prosecutor will more than likely drop your tint ticket, or reduce the punishment on both!

driving an ex-cop car, like I do, its the most insulting thing that could happen when you get pulled over (it doesn't apply to any of your L's by the way) but what I'm getting to is that many cops are obsurd at doing their job and they should be demoted because of that, best advice is go fight it after you calm down!

and do your best not to get pulled over again any time soon!

good luck!

Well, sorry to hear about your tickets. As for the tint I guess you should write your rep to work on that one... as for the speeding I have an idea.
If one (read YOU) are not looking around enough to see the cop before he sees you, you are not looking hard enough. I've been to a alot of defensive driving courses when I was young and learned. Cops don't hide, they don't have to. They work on the theory of Darwin. People who are not aware enough to be doing what they are doing will do it right in front of the officer. Therefore if you are looking well enough you will see him before he sees you, if not you'll at least see each other at the same time. My advise would be then...

When passing, don't get tunnel vision-it could be fatal. Look to the next turn, think if I were a cop where would I sit? Next time buy a white L they get less attention (proven by me). Pick on something mor your size... poor civic owners!

Cheers.

The golden rule for getting out of a ticket.........

Pick your nose so that the officer can see you do it. Really dig deep. He has to let you use his pen. It works!

the thing that really sucks is that the tint that was on there was already there. i bought it like that. and to you svtmoonshine i think it would have been impossible to see this little bugger it was a motorcycle cop and he was tucked in a driveway where its nearly impossible to see him

Do NOT punch the wall

I did that one night back in college and then studied all night for a chemistry test with my hand in a bucket of ice, waited approx. 4 days before going to the infirmary(did not want to tell Mom and Dad my stupidity), x-rays revealed what I already knew(BROKEN bones(x2), Orthopedic had to rebreak one of the bones(OUCH, hurt much, much worse than the first break) and my hand is still crooked. Suck the ticket up and **** and moan, but please do not punch any real walls.

I used to punch the panelling in the garage in high school and then the concrete walls of college come along and I did not know any better at the time apparently!!:o Again, walk away, do not hit the wall!!
