Sorry to bring this up again guys...but whats weired is that I cant find the p/ns for the seat brackets? I searched and there was a link to a site that had it(I think it was ******s) but the link was dead. Then I though I would find them in a thread but no luck. So can someone post all the p/ns necessary for the bucet seat conversion. Also, for the center sonsole, the LWM site has the old and the new style...i want the new style right?

Hey Vin,

Hope you've been doing well...See you at Cecil the end of June?

This may have been covered somewhere before. Do we have to cut the passenger side seat to do the console mod. I have a new 2002 Expedition console and hate to cut my passenger seat up.

Do you only cut the bottom cover on the pass. seat and use the parts you mentioned? Maybe I could buy a new passenger side seat cover and hold on to it in case I ever sell the L. Sometimes they (Ford) discontinue stuff.

thanks, Give me the scoop, yours looks great..

Yes,I had the passenger seat cut along with my Wet Okales. The apolster did a very good job.You would never know.
If you do not want to cut your seat,I guess you can order a driver side cushion and cover. You would still need the 3 pieces I mentioned above.
I paid $280 to have seat cut.I would think FORD would charge more for a cusion and cover(could be wrong).Something for you guys to check out
The mod is worth it IMO.I like the look but more importantly the function(more space for stuff and the console is more foward).
Here is another photo.

Hey Vinnie,

I realized that after I posted it. Your right it was BADAZZ516, I just left it. Oh well, I 'll meet you at Cecil I guess then.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to check on the seat cover cost from Ford before I do the Mod.

I like the mod, I'm doing it real soon even if I have to cut my pass. side seat like everyone else.

Im doing good how about you? Hopefully i will try and make it to cecil. One thing Vinnie forgot to mention is i was the first Lightning in jersey with that mod and first one with the Wet Okales cut to hehe. A few things i did different was i had my console arm rest the part that opens covered in black vinyl since i am going to be getting the part of the console painted black along with other pieces. I also left my front one piece carpet that i got from rkkustoms under the console just cut a hole in it for the mounting plate. You can see it better under the console in the second pic.

Here's some pics

Hey Vin,

I realized it was you I met after I wrote it, sorry. What was the front carpet piece from rkcustoms for? was it like a one piece floor mat? can you remove it to clean?

I liked the way you covered the lid with black vinyl. I'll have to cut my Wet Okoles also.

Thanks,

The WET OKALE cover also fits over the console cover. The fit is tight but looks good.

BADAZZ516-Yes, You were the first to cut the Wet Okales, but I was the first to use the Wet okale console cover.LOL HEHEHE

It was a just a one piece carpet that instead of being 2 spearate mats on each side it was a piece that went over the hump. I like it because you can get a binding around the edge to match the truck as you can see the black edge in the pics.

I talked to Boyd he said that since he had a problem making my rims that he wont be making them anymore for the Lightning. Sorry im gonna be the only lightning with them rims NO ONE ELSE IS ALOUD TO GET THEM
