Cool My most expensive mod for the L yet!

It's a two car garage with a house attached. Went and looked at the house for the second time today and gave it the Eagle Eye Inspection. Crawled thru the attic, checked all the fixtures, doors, windows, etc. etc.

I'll be calling the realtor in the morning to make an offer. Here's to being able to Zaino it ANYTIME I want!

Good luck Corner. Nothing like some freedom to do what you want, especially with Zaino!!

YeeeeeeHawwwwwwww(Rebel yell!)

Paul, that's great! I'm really happy for you because that's a great investment. Personal, private property can be a joy for many reasons. Hope you get a loooooow mortgage rate or have you sold enough copper cable to pay cash ?

Btw, no more mods for your L . The house will 'eat' those $$$ up as you 'mod' it.

Thumbs up

CornerCarver,
Great news, good luck with getting your new home. There is nothing better than to be able to go out to your garage at any time of the day or night and work on the Lightning. Good luck with the closing and I hope you get to move in soon and enjoy the new home right away.
Bill

Talking

Woooo Hoooo! Got the house! The owner's counter offer was within $500 of where I wanted him to be. I figured that's one month's rent so I accepted.

Let's see:

1.) Put a larger pulley on the A/C unit for more boost from the compressor
2.) Put a larger K&N panel filter on it
3.) I'm thinkin' 4.10's on the garage door opener...

Hmmmmm, now where can I put a chip...

CornerCarver,
congrats on the garage, oh ya and the house too. I "chipped" my garage door, 4.10's are way too much work for the little performance gain. It goes 0 to up in 6.1 seconds now.....

Now though I have to fix the damn second chip on the paint of my door...

Congrats on your new purchase. The only bad thing about being a new home-owner vs. a renter, is that there is allways something to do in/on the house. I have been in mine about a month and half and I am now able to come home and relax for a couple minutes before my mind starts thinking about the house O yeah, do yourself a favor and buy some Home Depot stock

Congrats on the new House and being a Home owner.

No more rock throwing in the parking area of your Apt. complex. Or was that a brick? Ouch!!!

Fast Gator is right. I had a new home built about 2 yrs ago. Do yourself a favor and buy some Home Depot/Lowes stock. There's always something to do around the house, but the garage is definelty a plus. I installed a belt drive garage doors with a 6 lb pulley, those doors really go up fast. Now you can Zaino your truck in privacy, not in the Apt. complex parking lot.

I've had several people say my garage is almost as nice as the inside( insulated garage, epoxy painted floor, cabinets with work bench, cable TV hookup, etc). I need to install a Dynojet in the gargae now and it will be complete. A guy has to be comfortable.

Congrats on the house! Now you have 2 things to modify. I have been doing the green thumb thing all day around mine. Funny usually people tell me my thumb is somewhere else... And Vinnie I am joining those married ranks myself in October.
