crankcase/oil filler breather?????????

hi all,

I have a JDM crankcase/oil filler breather that I've just installed.

Are you guys removing and plugging the old holes and hoses to the supercharger boot? With the breather in place it's not a closed system anymore so we should be able to keep the old hoses on because there shouldn't be any more vacuum, correct?

If I'm incorrect which of the 3 hoses are you plugging and where?

Help!

I tried putting breather filters on both cam covers and on the oil filler pipe. This wasn't satisfactory because oil was forced out of the cam covers and was burned(smeeled awful) off of the manifolds. I tried it with just a breather on the left cam cover and the oil filler too. Right now, I have just the oil breather filter on and my intake area is 'dry' .

Btw, Jay Lincoln started a thread on a new 'fix' just a little while ago.

Dan, I will post the "fix" today with pictures in my gallery. It works great. In fact, you still be amazed at how much oil is really getting the blower and intake ports.

A 20 mile jaunt left me with about 1 oz. of oil in the filter.
