Post Plug change... pretty easy

After all the horror stories I was worried, but it turned out to be a two hour job... only issue is making sure you have the right tools.

Here's everything I used to do the job, main things being the 7mm 1/4" drive universal socket and the spark plug setup:

And the main one was for the spark plugs themselves - a universal 5/8" spark plug socket from Sears, with a 3/8" universal above that all topped with a medium extension. Duct tape held them all together, allowing easy removal and installation of the plugs:

First one was the hardest, got easier as I got the hang of it. Like the Densos a lot, makes me feel safer with the 5# pulley.

2Cool

How could we survive without duct tape. Good idea. That spark plug socket always pulls off and stays on the new plug.

heh... yep, it did on the first one (passenger side front) and I could reach it with needle-nose pliers. So out came the hundred-mile-an-hour tape, and everything was smooth after that.

The most important tool there was the magnet

Without that you better have tiny(I mean tiny) fingers.

Actually I was able to contort to reach all of the screws for the coil packs. Most of the time it was fingertips only, but it was doable.

Note to self: wait for the engine to cool next time... thank gawd for aloe plants...
