FYI:

If you've never used MAC parts, don't expect the very best parts. In my opinion, from my Mustang experience, they are decent parts at good prices. I do recall several Mustang owners had problems with the chrome tips on their cars.

I followed the link but was just curious if anyone had it cheaper than $289.95. Someone mentioned above a price of $230, and I wanted to know where that was at.

J15big ,yes I have heard the bassani and it is a little bit louder in a raspy kind of way, The Mac sounds very good and aggressive and is not ear splitting loud and the tips fit perfect.

retail is 289.50 I think it was 235.00 on the auction. the tips are 3.5 inch and the setup is coated also . dual in dual out . very nice sound from the Muffler . I think it is a cross between a Dynomax and a Flowmaster . the quality has stepped up in the years from MAC . very nice setup for the money

mac exhaust

Called the supplier and got some info on the system,
it is "aluminized coated" over steel and increases horsepower
by 20 or so ponies, the salesmen then said that any time you reduce backpressure
you will gain horsepower!
I really like the price, but it seems like a crock of crap
to increase the power and the others like Bassani and JDM stay
about the same, I think I am going to save for the Bassani or JDM!! better
deal and reputable.
