WFC was a lot of fun..am I going to break my driveshaft and other q's?

Hey Guys:

Just got back from WFC. It seemed like *all* of the Lightning tuners were there, and I bought stuff from all of them

I only got to watch 1 round of Street Lightning, and 3 lightnings broke their driveshafts. What can I do to keep this from happening to me????

I bought a ton of stuff for the '02 L (hopefully) we can get over this slowness problem I am having.

2 program Superchip (from JDM) Tow program on one side Performance on the other. I wanted to buy a chip from Sal, but he didn't have is '02 stuff ready yet.

2 lb pulley (from JDM) I plan on upgrading to a 4 lb later.

Cold Air Kit (from JDM)

DS Loop (from Johnny Lightning)

Truck tracks (from PSP)

Denso Plugs (from PSP)

Factory Tech Valve Body (from Lightning Force Performance)

I almost bought a Monster Box since they had it on special, but I had a hard enough time carrying the truck-tracks back to the truck (LOL).

Everybody was pretty cool and easy to talk to. However, I get the feeling that due to the limited numbers of trucks produced, this Lightning Tuning business is super-cutthroat.

My unrealistic expectation is to be able to hit 12s (in good air) with these mods. We'll see, I've got kind of a long way to go.

the Truck Traks will prevent axle wrap and reduce stress placed on the driveshaft yokes.

They will do that, I would also change your pinion angle some. ESPECIALLY if you plan to use ANY for of drop, but even stock you can change it some....

I think you'll see high 12s with those mods. Get those Truck-Traks adjusted(snubber to spring distance) and go racin'!

Lordy! You helped create a little inflation there amongst the tuners. Good for you--get that beast runnin' right.

Hey:

Well, if it ever quits raining, I should be at it this Saturday at 41.

Wish me luck.

The Monster Box was on special because I didn't want to haul it home, I bought a boat while I was there and had enogh stuff coming back. As threatened, I came home and traded the Lightning in, it was gonna go out of warranty this week.

New toys....

Not you per se, but I know the box in my garage is for him, I'm assuming it's yours. Anything I should know before I put it together?

Could be mine...I told him I wanted a monster box just before he left for WFC so I would be suprised if it was already done. If it is mine just make it extra tough

btw
sorry, i miss-spelled your name
