brake problem?
regarding brake pad wear
This could be caused by a worn out caliper. It may not be releasing when you let off the brakes. Not necessarily enough to feel a pull to one side but just enough to hold a little pressure on the pads.
Good Luck
Good Luck
Where should I start?
LIGHTNINROD:
I agree with BDAZSVT - That cat is stunning! Congratulation on the new addition to the family!
As LIGHTNINGROD mentioned, Ridgebacks were originally bred to hunt large game in the Rhodesian plains. But they were mainly used to protect the families and farms. One of the reasons why they are the only known dog to survive lion attacks is because they aren't attack dogs. They're smart enough to stay away and keep them at bay. Here's an old picture of Rhodesian Ridgebacks from National Geographic many years ago:
and here I am with Blazer at almost 12,000 ft (11,993ft):

Jay:
The pads Monty suggested aren't that aggressive on the rotors UNLESS you really put your foot on the brake. Plus, the dust isn't as bad. If you haven't yet put them on, I suggest trying them.

BTW, you met our RR puppy Mystique. She won Best in Show (Bred by Exhibitor) last week!
What's new? I haven't seen you around town...
just got thru putting drop shackles & a sway bar on my friends 2002 harley davidson, and on the way home did a couple of hard stops.. truck didn't pull to either side very much, but when you have huge ruts in every %$#@*^& road, it's like hard to tell, or something.
since we seem to be on the subject of pets, i have a 16 year old bassett hound.. it seems that they were mostly used for catching naps, back in the old days, judging by what she usually does now.. on the other hand, she can track a bowl of dog food pretty good too.

Nice Clonetek. What's she run the 1/4 in?
George, I've been in FL for a few weeks and then doing the bike roadracing thingy.
I've got one at Sears this weekend. If you've got time you're welcome to cruise up and hang out!

Spike: Congratulations on the home-bred BIS--Mystique must be gorgeous!
Jay: No cat shows for Henry--he has been turned into a(n) eunuch--required by the breeders for adult cat sales. I allowed him inside the L yesterday for the first time---he has no fear and checks out everything--with clipped claw tips. No ride yet except for the trip home from the Atlanta a/p and to the vet's.

Clontek,
I am with you brother! I have a 2 1/2 yr. old Bassett Hound, Bailey. Same colors, white/brown (red), no black markings. She gets a lot of hair in the L. Can't put her in the Vette because when she is in the car, the driver's seat mysteriously moves forward, I dunno? (Could it be that the power seat controls are in the center console? MMMMMMMMMMM Could Be!!!!). She is a great dog!!! A 55 lb. lap dog, OUCH!!! Gotta put on the cup!
