Question Oil problem in the intake problem..

Just want to know what are you guys doing to get the oil out of the intake boot and throttle body? Also do you think this oil problem could cause limited air flow in the intake system?

I just got a 'fix' from UPS today. I plan to install it Sun. and monitor the results. It's expensive and may be overkill but I'll let everyone know more once I've tried it out for a few weeks.

Update:

On my expensive 'fix'--won't work and is very large for eng. bay fitment.

Btw, I took the intake boot completely off(not just loose) and there was no oil in there or in the throttle body??? I had installed breathers on both cam covers miles ago but had removed them a couple of months ago--also had an oil breather cap on too. The oil was being forced out of the filters onto the cam covers and, eventually onto the exhaust manifolds(smells awful). That's why I took them off and went back to the stock set-up.

I've been running just the cap recently--no oil in the intake now??? Before I got too 'happy', I remembered I haven't run at the track for three weeks now so I've only been 'in boost' 2 or 3 times. That may be 'why' there is no oil where it shouldn't be???

Didn't know if you guys were aware that Ford considers this a "normal" operating condition, and that no repair is required. If you think it's a problem, they will send a engineer to the dealership to check it out. Yeah right, more smoke and mirrors.... Shawn
