Yeah lets have a lightning shoot out on may 25. hope everyone can make it. it will be a good test run before the RT shootout in tucson on june 7.

 

My '01 L is in the shop as of today for:
1. Trans not shifting out of 1st gear periodically
2. The famous 'clunk' noise in the front end
3. It started running so bad i can't touch the gas or it dies (maybe a MAF?)

Not sure when i'll get it back but hopefully this week. May not make it Sat the 18th but would think i could make it Sat the 25th as long as i can, well, get the truck back to the state it should be!
I could always take the M3 but i'm not sure i want to run 14 flats and get beat by a bunch of trucks...

I'll keep you posted, i'm sure there will be plenty more of us that can get together this or next Sat!!!

 

Hay boys and girls its that time of the month again.Its time for team firebird tonight.Gates opeon at 5:00 for you guys to come race or even come out ant watch.Oh and we really need to get some more fellow lightnings out to tucson in june because there is going to be alot of RT's out there even one from california with twin-turbos on it,and even a guy from AZ with a blower,50 shot of bottle he goes by the name lightning eater well that is what his license plate sais anywaise.Anyway we just need more lightnings to come out.
