Cool

HI!... MIKEO : Actually I'm not sure on that. I have heard rumors from people that I know that work at and with FORD's that are say two different things. I've heard that the LIGHTNING will get 3-valve heads in "03" and I have also heard from other sources that say the LIGHTNING will be getting 4-valve heads for "03" to compete with the new DODGE truck coming out. I hope the 2ND rumor is true! I have been told that all other 5.4's will get the 3-valve heads in "04".

All SVT prototype engines are built by Roush or at Ford Experimental engine Facility. If they are approved for production then Windsor will start building them prior to job#1. SVT has kept a tight lid on the next updated L engine. Everything is just rumors & speculation at this time.

If you see my truck up for sale on here it would be a good bet I have seen my next new toy and my deposit is holding a not yet released order at my SVT dealer.

The fact that they are producing them THIS summer (even if in small numbers) should mean something!!! Why produce something now if it is for 2004????

Thor-one more thing, the L engine is mass produced unlike the cobra which is stamped with the autographs of the two who worked on it.
