This might even be worse than putting a wing on a truck. Hmm.

I don't even get what they are supposed to be?

I agree that the wing is very much rice.

Not sure why money would be spent on it, and it serves no function. I have seen pictures of Tampa's truck witout the bed cover on it, and it looks 100% better (I know that's hard to do with his truck - wish mine was that clean). I was at a car show two weeks ago and there was a silver Lightning there with a "fast and the furious" wing on his truck... not good. I believe that the only good looking bed cover is a quality soft cover.

Well, I say to each his own. Personally I wouldn't have a wing on my truck but,

... a breast or a thigh and now your talkin'.

Jet Ski cover.

Honestly, I think they are trying to borrow a styling concept that was originally on an early 60's t-bird convertible that has most recently been used on mustang convertibles by Saleen. I guess you could chop the top off the L and it might look like some aero package for the seatbacks.

i dunno...

I like the A.R.E. lid in general..maybe because i have it but i have always liked how it added nice smooth body lines to the top of the bed...a big improvement i think. The wing thing i would never personally do myself..its a matter of individual taste. When i saw rich's (tampa) truck a couple weeks ago at a car show/ meet , the very first thing i noticed was his bed cover missing. He replaced it with a soft one which also looked nice. He has a newer idea for his bed cover...but i wont spoil it, its going to be really nice though for sure..youll just have to wait and see

01whiteLight, you have any pics of your truck with the ghost flames yet? I love white L's. well any L, but white's my favorite.

THose things do have compartments or something, but htey are UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. theylook like $#!+!!!!!!!!!

wings don't look bad on tonneaus if its on a nice truck such as a L. Not a big one, but a low profile small one looks nice. Big ones look like crap and THAT is ricy. but a small wing is a nice look. A.R.E. has a nice one. but i like my tonneau better than any with a wing.

Talking Sercurity devices?

I think that the "speed bumps" are there for when some idiot trys break in to your tonneau and ends up shattering the rear window when he lifts the lid. They slow him down as he decides to crawl through the window. Hince the name "SPEED BUMPS".
