WFC5, whos going now with the rain?

I don't know guys but with T-storms on thursday and friday I'mn not sure I'm going to go down there. Even if it stops raining friday night with T-storms, by the time they get the track dry enough to race on it, its going to be late after noon and then where going to get one run to qualify and then on sunday its going to be eliminations like that. I'm not about to drive down to st. louis for that and waste my money and time.

SOO who's going still?

And who around the Chicago are want to go to Byron on saturday possibly? If there even open?

BAH!

Real racers only worry about the weather when its actually raining.

You've obviously never been to an NMRA event (National Make Rain Association).

I'll be there, rain or shine.

Well I'll tell you guys right now I'm not coming down as planned on wednesday. I'll wait and see what the weather looks like and decide on friday weather I'm coming down.

If we get no rain on friday I'll be leaving in the morning, if it rains a little I'll be on my way friday too, but if it thunderstorms I doubt I'm going to be there and I still got to find a trailer to haul this pig down there.

I'm so pissed about the rain lately, thats all it does on the weekends is rain and rain or get cold. There talking about snow flurries on saturday in chicago! WHAT!!!!!!!

we'll see guys.

There's always Hooter's and Cold Beer, Even in St. Louis

I will be there tomorrow for Test & Tune.
Even it it is raining, I need a few days off.
We might have to change RTKilla's name to "NoShowJoe".

Bob I can't afford to waste my time drinking beer and playing when I can be working and making more money for the company.

As for calling me "noshowjoe", thats fine. But can we call you drunk a$$ bob then? It fits you well considering 90% of the time you make a post the word beer is mentioned, and your always drinking it. We could call you AAA too?

Sorry for the harsh remarks but you being the ILLNESS leader should know better then to give me chit for not showing up to an event when circumstances would not allow me too. Oh well I'm not going to fight with you and the ILLNESS gang cause its not worth my time and effort to try and explain myself to you guys so I fell more accepted and welcome. Besides I got more friends with faster cars anyway to hang out with.

If you want me to participate again, then let me back on the illness site, but as far as I'm concered I'm not a part of illness anymore. SORRY!

Joe, gotta admit above statement does denote a sense of maturity. Taking on the Japanese work ethic are we and/or growing out of the whippersnapper shoes perhaps? HAHAHA

no not at all bob J/K, its just that this is the most busy season for us as a company and Someday this company is going to be mine and I love this company. I was raised on it and I respect it and for me to just go down to St. louis to drink beer and play at hooters is not right, especially since my father was kind enough to let me have these 2 days off for RACING cause he knows how much I love it. I think you understand what I'm saying bob.

Trust me I love to play as much as the next guy, but I have priorites and work is my most number one priority at this phase in my life. All you guys have been working at a job for very long time and most of you are used to your work and are happy with it. I just started my current position about 2 years ago and I've still got lots to learn and I want more and more and more and more and the only way to get that is one way. MONEY! I want to build a new engine and put a new blower on this truck and someday I want to do a custom paintjob and all the other trimmings and unless I work I can't afford that. Yes I get a salary, but I can also get bonuses and the sky is the limit on how much I get according to how much money the company makes. 4 years ago my brother got a 25,000 bonus check that year cause we did so good! I WANT THAT TOO NOW!!! can you imagine what I would do with another 25 grand!!! I don't know, but it would be so BAAADDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I'm in no way flaming you speedy and to tell you the truth, me and you and have been getting along pretty good and Its nice not to fight with a fine and upstanding member of the board. Have a nice day and remember to bring your rain coat guys, HEHEHEHHHEHE.

Joey,

Damn son, two for two.

No flame taken.

Livelihood takes presedence over play-time.

Almost wasn't able to make it myself but luckily things worked out.

I'll make sure to pack the sides for the EZ-UP tent... hehe
