Drop kits

Wondering what lowering kits are available for the L's. I tow a boat occasionally so it would have to be a mild drop. My rear bumper is almost in the water as is when launching at the ramps? Are bags possible and if so what do they typically run in price?

Do a search . alot of information will come up. I guess if you're gonna be towing don't do to much of a drop. With my 2/3 im already bottomming out. maybe 2" shackels will work nice. some guys have done bags in the back I think, don't remember who though.

FRPP has a nice 1"/2" drop (front springs, rear shackles). I have one in my garage and am hoping I get a chance to install it this weekend.

check out link in siq.

You'd definately want to also look into an air bag system for the rear just to help level out he truck. But if your bumper is almost in the water why do you still want to lower?

and how big is the boat?

i have the belltech 3/4 done, so on a L it is a 2/4, BUT, it was to low in the back so i put the stock shackles back on with the front hangers so in theroy it is a 2/2, BUT parked next to a L with just the belltech shackles on my back is lower, who would of thunk??

i have pulled the boat a couple times this year already and it rides nice, but for saftey sake a set of rear bags are comming..

My boat is an 23' offshore openfisherman. The ramps I launch at are steep and with low tide my angle of departure is sometimes sharp. Therefore the back end is close to the water level. I would like to eliminate the rake look and not see so much fenderwell from a side view in the rear. I don't want to slam it. I just want to have that "cleaner look" you know what I mean? The photo of the 2/2 with the boat L in Detroit looks great.... Glad to hear frm some other L owners that have the same scenerio....I guess not to many L owners are concerned with their towing capabilities when considering lowering their truck.....
