Did the Drivetech school!
Wanted to pass along my experience for anyone thinking of a
"Racing Experience". I signed up in December for their class at California Speedway (2 mile D oval) and did it at 1/2 off cuz I was filling in an empty slot.
Well, they put on a very professional experience - top to bottom. The cars are Winston Cup cars that you ride ALONE in, and are monitored via radio. You can PASS too. For the first 20 laps the rev limiter is at 4500rpm - about 130mph. After a quick pit, they set it to 4800 - about 140. This is not a hard core driving school, rather it was more a kickinthepants experience; especially those fat banks and sticky tires
