I am putting my order together:

Z1- Pre-cleaner and gloss conditioner
Z2- Polish for clear coat
Z7- Car Wash
Z18- Claybar
and a couple of applicators

Do I need Z5 or any of these other things like the accelerator? Thanks in advance!

 

Get the accelerator, it makes the job much easier, and then you won't need the Z1. I would recommend Z5 if you have a dark color or and older truck. You only need the first 1-2 coats to be Z5, then all Z2 from there out.

and the applicators. as far as the rest its your choice. I use Meguirs tire Gel

Z5 is for swirl marks isn't it?

Claybar, tried it won't use it again. If you drop the dang thing your screwed. Been there done that.

I use Meguirs Paint Scrub before I use the Zaino. Never had any probs with anything else

 

Definitely get a bottle of ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator and forget the Z1, you won't need IT.

I claybar'd mine, put on one coat of Z2, and when I finish this Bud I'm going back out to the garage and putting on another coat, maybe I might just have another Bud

I am goign to do that tonight after I get back from Dairy queen and put on my driveshaft loop before WFC5.

 

I went with the ZFX instead of Z1 also. I did 3 coats of Z5, then 2 coats of Z2. The final coat of Z2 is going on either Mon or Tues. I used Z6 in between each coat, and to get the bugs off the front this week.

I used Meguire's Gold foam pads instead of the Zaino cotton pad. I didn't care for thier pad. I also use the Meguire's tire dressing, the gooey stuff, NOT spray on.

One bottle of each will be plenty. I mixed 2oz of wax with the ZFX. I got 3 coats from 2 oz of the Z5 and had enough left over for 1/2 coat after 2 coats of the Z2. Use THIN coats.
