Should I have to "rub" to get Zaino off?

My z5 has been drying now for about 2 hours, but it doens't come off easy... the instructions make it sound like it should just wipe off easily...
Should it just wipe off? Or do you really have to rub to get it out?

That means it's not dry yet.
Not knowing where you're located, the temp, or humidity, I can't tell you how long it takes.
If you just did the Z1 then Z5, it takes a long time.

You should go to http://www.zainobros.com and print out the instructions AND tips. It'll help you a lot.

Sounds like you used a bit too much ... But humidity does
change the drying time ... If it just streaks it isn't
dry yet ...

It wipes off easily when ready ...

guapo.. buy some of the zaino ZFX. it dries almost instantly.. even in this louisiana humidity!

also, with zaino.. use very little.. 1/2 oz. is way more than enough to do my whole truck.. including bedcover!

Clonetek;

Just 2 quick questions. What type of aplicator are you using to apply that small amount of Zaino to the entire truck ? And was that from the initial application or is that on follow ups?

I am just trying to make sure I have everything I need for my truck's first application. Tnx

Like they said, it isn't dry yet. I used the ZFX, and it still took almost an hour for it to dry here in FL. The stuff it tough to get off sometimes. Use VERY light coats. The ZFX kit includes 2oz mixing bottles. I got TWO coats out of ONE bottle. This stuff does go a long ways!!!! I am doing one final coat either monday or tuesday, and I plan letting this last coat dry for 5 or 6 hrs.

For application, I used Meguire's Gold foam pads. I tried the coton one that came with my Zaino, but didn't like it. The foam ones don't soak up as much wax. I did spray a very light mist of Z-6 onto the pad to wet it when I started.

I had to rub alot in places. Use LOTS of towels when wiping it off. On my final coats, I was using 1 1/2 - 2 towels per coat. That greatly reduced smearing the residue around. I had some spots that really needed a little rubbing. On my last coat tomorrow, I will use a couple less drops of ZFX since I will be letting it set for several hours.
