What is the rule (NHRA) on the drive shaft loop location? How far back from the fron u-joint?

Pretty sure it is 6" back from the U-joint.

That would be correct, 6" back from the U joint. The Lightning's frame comes pre-drilled with many sets of holes you to use.

Hey Brooks
What muffler is that under your truck? Did you get a power gain from it and did you have to hack up the stock muffler?

Thanks

its a stainless steel magnaflow.. can't remember what number it is.. maybe someone can chime in..

no real power gain, but the truck sounds much better.. yes i had the stock muffler cut off... tossed it in the trash.

14468 is the SS shorty and 14568 is the SS long. Short one sounds better. I have the 12468 same thing just plated instead of stainless. Cutting and a little tube bending is required. $150-$200 installed.
