So I took the beastie out for a night of drag racing fun at the newly renamed Pacific Raceways (previously SiR).

Had a BLAST. I got 18 runs in from 5pm till 9pm. There were a max of 50 cars there. The track still hooks for $#@$, but I got some reasonable times.

Truck is completely stock except for traction bars and electric fan:

How do those numbers sound to folks? I've got the whole collection of goodies waiting for me in the garage (slicks/chip/filter/pully/long tubes), So I'm guessing this will be the last time in the 14's/13's for me.

I wish you would have posted that you were goin cause i didn't know there was a test and tune last night. I would have been there in a heart beat. Let me know the next time you go there.

 

I think you will hit the twelves or REAL close, depending on the track. If the slicks hook, look for twelves.

hehe I'm going to have the tire shop rotate my tires next week after 100 miles (when I pick up the slicks).... boy they are going to look at me funny!

The most runs I've ever done in a night was 5 in Orlando, I couldn't beleive it when I got 5 in the first 45 minutes!

early on Wednesday is the key. At the start I was literally staging as soon as I pulled up. Ther were a max of 15 cars...

Supposedly Friday/Saturday is a huge mess and you don't get anywhere near as many runs.
