Water Wetter is it worth it ?
Hey it's late and I'm bored at work night shift sucks ( venting) sorry
I was wondering does that water wetter really work or is it just B.S
I was gonna get it from summit but dont want ot waste the money even though it is only 7-10 bucks but does it work and is it ok for the coolant in our trucks
Thanks

well i know it works for sure, because i water cool my computer and with redline water wetter it reduced my temp by around 10%
i've ran water wetter in my truck since day 1, but its hard to tell if it works in cars, unless you have a digital meter

weve used it in my race cars for years because you cant use antifreeze.i didnt think it would help in the truck because it has antifreeze in it.Ill have to get a bottle from the shop and try it

I use it in my Neon with water because glycol isn't allowed. I'm not sure if it helped temps, but used it primarily to keep the PH balance of the water correct and keep from forming deposits.
I used it in a few cars with glycol and didn't notice a difference....Might help with the intercooler though......

See my sig. I use Dex-Cool with it. 15% volume for the coolant system (25.5qts, total capacity, 3.85qts DexCool = 15%) You need 1 oz. Water Wetter per qt. so 25.5 oz req'ed for the coolant system.
Intercooler = 4.6 qts. so for 10% = .46 of a qt, and 4.6 oz of Water Wetter. Biggest noticable difference for high lb S/C pully users will be greater intercooler efficency and lower temps, which equates to less HP loss.
Dex-Cool is superior to the green coolant. Be advised that YOU CANNNOT mix the two. If you switch to Dex be sure to flush the coolant system out well.
Coolant additives are REQUIRED for boil over and freeze protection, water pump lubrication and balance of electrolytes within the cooling system (corrosion inhibitation).
You can flush with tap water but ALWAYS used distilled water for the coolant system.
