Question *U-Bolts How Tight*

How tight are the stock rear axle U bolts supposed to be on a Lightning? Torqued to how many ft pounds??

Thanks Dan, I guess I should loosen them up a bit. I torqued them at 120.

Chikenears, I would not loosen them up, you have already streched the bolt. I would just leave them alone. IMHO, Jim

You can actually find them on eBay for around $10...and they usually have just about every year (not that the L's have changed that much).

I was afraid of that. Think its safe to drive hard like that or should I replace them?

Tim, I really don't think it will hurt anything. You didn't over tighten them really that much. Jim
