cruising along an interstate i looked behind me and saw a dodge dakota coming behind me doing about 80 mph..I knew right off it had to be an R/T because of how low it sat and the wide front tires..well he flew up on my bumper and came on the side of me, rolled his window halfway down and gave my truck one of those "yeah right" looks and cruised on ahead...Knowing that our trucks look more monstrous than those R/Ts I caught up behind him just so he'd look in his rear view mirror in fear. Everytime he switched lanes so did i...Then he floored it and i floored it only I had to hurry up and get from behind him..Didn't expect to come close to bull horning his truck so quickly ..When i got from around him, he became a dot in my rear view mirror in seconds...You guys are right, those R/Ts aren't much of a challenge for the Lighnings..

BTW...No cars were around at that time...Just was curious to see how the R/Ts ran..

 

yeah, have done the same thing, i must have been 1/4 of a mile ahead of him in seconds

 

wow, pretty impressive....What is the hype about the R/Ts? Maybe they give Lightings a better run through launching off the line and not from 60mph rolls...This one stood no chance against me..

 

I wouldn't brag about beating something that slow,
you are like the bully talking to his friends about beating up the little geek and stilling his lunch money, but then again you might get a bounding if you fought someone of comparable size. To keep up your rep. you should stick to the little slow guys, that way they can't get away.
