How is Zaino on the plastic trim??

Well, the Zaino shipment came today.

How is Zaino on the plastic trim?? Is it a P.I.T.A. to remove like all the others waxes?? I think I will tape it off this time just to save the headache.

I only did my hood today, for the first time and all the plastic trim I had to deal with was the washer nozzles but it came off without a hitch. I don't think it's a problem at all, but I could be wrong. Anybody else care to comment??

Soap said that same thing, that it was no problem at all getting it off of the plastic parts. Although he did not put it ALL over the plastic!

By all means, tape the plastic pieces before you start.
Although Zaino doesn't show on plastic as bad as other waxes, it does show.

I think it's a good product and very easy to use. You should get more bang for your buck simply because your truck is red. Silver, like mine, can shine like a diamond but not be as noticable as a darker color.

It smells nice too, like cherries. Use the claybar first, that thing is amazing!

Sounds good. I have a mother's clay bar already, so I'll use it first. I buffed the hood to get rid of some of the water spots last weekend. Short of wetsanding, the last few aren't going anywhere. The paint is perfectly smooth, so I'm putting Zaino over it and claybarring the rest of the hood after a good Dawn wash.

I didn't use a Zaino claybar either, mine came from NAPA. It worked great.

Yes I do work on my L but I took my hood lamp off when I put on my shaker hood so I never had the opportunity to see how long it stays on for before going off.

They go out after 20 mins but if you open the door they re-energize for another 20.

If you have any dried white film on the plastic parts, some of the Zaino tire shine stuff takes it right off. Makes all the plastic parts look new again. The bottle says its for tires,plastic......and bunch of other stuff. I'm going to do my engine detailing with it pretty soon.

4D THNDR: i knew it was something like that..

JBLsilver01: i use the zaino tire dressing for everything... tires, exterior plastic and rubber trim, interior plastic and rubber trim, engine compartment, ect...

the tire dressing will cover up the white film for a while, but it will eventually come back if you don't scrub the film off... i used a toothbrush and simple green.. other people use dawn..
