It's nice to see BIG companies putting out products for our Lightnings.

That's the 3rd one to come out recently:

Volant
Air Force One
MAC

Same part number for 99-01.. Somethings not right. If you go to their website that Mac setup looks just LIKE an Airaid.. If anyone bought one I would love to hear from them...

Excited

Looks like you could just take the top off your stock air box and get the same results. As opposed to the PSP system that brings you cold air from three sources. Just my 2 cents... Anyone beg to differ?

i put a K&N panel filter in my stock box and cut a 2.5 inch hole in the bottom ,Ran a section of 2.5 inch shop vac hose to the lower grill ,when i installed my new billet grill i put the plastic shop vac scoop /the one for cleaning up water behind the grill for ram air works great =no more black tips on tail pipes ,i used to have the scoop under the spoiler held on with plastic ties worked great there to ,but i did not like the look's just like JL 's setup but for 59.00 dollars incliding K&N filter, but i am considering the MAC setup with the polished air tube.
As far as removing the TOP of airbox,i beg to differ, maybe the bottom and plastic tie the filter in place but not the top cover, your filter is desined to clean the air coming in from the BOTTOM.my thought's only but what do i know?

Check out this item that they are selling. If this air inlet setup is a Mac product then Airaid is going to be in court with them.

Here is Air Force...

I am seriously considering an intake when I do my chip here very soon. The Air Force kit runs $199. I like the polished tube also.

Question

Once the supercharger gets done compressing the air, I wonder how much difference "cold air" induction makes? My guess is not much; have you seen anybody making these kits post any real dyno numbers?

Do they have a kit out yet for 01/02 Lightning's? I could not find a picture or any info on their website.
