Get the QA1 shocks. They are awesome and easily adjustable. Firm them up for the twisties then soften them up for the 1/4 mile track. Best of all worlds.

The Roush shocks are great for their springs, but are not adjustable.

The Doetsch are great for a lowered truck, but again, are not adjustable.

The HAL's have a 1-setting adjustment (with 12 positions).

If you've got bucko bucks, I can give you the name of a guy that can hook you up with a Penske setup....remote resevior, dual adjustments...

I'd say it depends on what you want to do... if you're just lowering your truck and doing some mild racing, then go with the Doetsch...they're the best price-point for perofmrance.

If you are doing a bit more racing, but don't want to pump over a G, pick up the HAL's....

The ROUSH ones I wouldn't get unless you're keeping it with their springs....if you're not lowering your truck, and don't have a 2001/2002, then just get the 2001/2002 Bilsteins and put them on.

I am going to be running ROUSH springs, Hotchkis swaybars and HAL shocks (install date is May 15th)...I've been trying to get them isntalled for a bit and keep getting missing the installs for one reason or another, this time I'm set. :-D

You might want to try the Doetsch 9 way adjustable shocks. Saw them in person as Sport Truck Direct. $80 a piece.

BBQ-
Hope you're not in a hurry. I went on Friday to get some Bilsteins and only came away with three...two rears and one front. Everyone is out of the front Bilsteins...not sure why, but the closest one to me is in Dallas. FoMCo/Motorcraft has no idea when to expect supplies to be back up.

If your truck is lowered I would go with the doestch shocks. I had the bell techs on mine and they where Ok but the doestch shocks handle better and ride allot smoother!

If you wait a little longer, doetsch is coming out with 12 point adjustable shocks for lowered trucks and that my frined is going to be the cats a$$ in shocks. When those do come out soon, I'll be getting some. In my opinion, QA1's= overpriced but good shock for people that really really drive there trucks to the limit on a road course. As far as hooking on the track, you'll hear no complaints from my beast and she's right there with the fastest around.
