They guy that saw the Shawow Grey with Chrome inside accents, such as the door handles, ect, and saw different wheels......... Probably saw a 02 HARLEY Supercharged....and didn't know the difference.....LOL

hehe! My boy said that if they come out with steel grey as the next color that he would sell his supra and buy the 03L. Dang....we'd be one hot couple! With two Ls and all....

 

I might just wait to buy my L and get the '03 for that grey. That is HOT. I could see why they wouldn't go with yellow on acount of it getting old quick, but damn that grey is nice.

 

So I guess we shouldn't hold our breath for the new L to be anything at all like the survey some of us took???

ANYTHING but yellow!!! A vehicle can get a bad name with one bad color. I still remember the yellow Ranger Splash.....

 

Sales team on svtperf bord has finally talked. The new color is...DARK SHADOW GREY! He also said that this will be the fifth color. Does that mean we will get white next year?? No blue though. Now, about those manley rods -this SHOULD BE DONE FROM THE FACTORY!!! THESE TRUCKS MSRP FOR 30K PLUS! THE TYPE OF INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL BUY AN SVT PRODUCT PLAYS HARDER THAN THE AVERAGE DRIVER. WE EXPECT HIGHER PERFORMANCE AND DESERVE IT. WE PAY FOR THE VEHICLE PRICE, INSURANCE AND PREMIUM GAS. GIVE US THOSE RODS!!

That is awesome, but where did you hear this? Can you show us some proof? Why would they get rid of a brand new color? The blue is just as nice as the other colors. Did you hear anything else about the '03 Lightning? performance, new features, etc.? Thanks

 

Falcon-this is off of the svtperformance.com forums. There is a salesman who posts regularly and is great about telling us what he can. He said it was off of the order sheet or something. He is an svt salesman and knows what he is talking about. No word on drivetrain. (RODS!!!!!!)

 

gray is the color for next year,

the answer is simple, just like the cobra,'s they vary the color from year to year, except for the base colors, this should be done, i for one would welcome the gray

 

Hey Beef, does this mean that we DO get white next year??
