Helping or Hurting??

ok, i am running in stock form i.e. spare tire intact, hitch intact, tail gate intact, tonneau cover intact...........i am also running on gt2's and 20in chromes............

is all that weight helping my traction or hurting it? i would think it would help but am hearing otherwise. The tonneau has to stay, but i think i can remove the spare tire (won't help much w/ the 20's anyways).........will this help or will i just loose more traction?

For some reason I think it helps. I have the same GT2's with 20" wheels, A.R.E. hard cover, and the spare. I dont have the hitch on though. Most of my 60ft. times have been below 2.0, an average of 1.82. Personally I think it helps. I will remove all that extra wieght when I get slicks and traction bars.
