Simple pleasures and agonies...

Pleasure: Driving my L and waving or blowing my horn at another L owner.

Agony: Being out in my beat-up 94 Nissan altima and watching another L (rare in my area) go by... (I was blowing my horn in my mind though).

I havea solution!

I once saw a rusty POS Honda with a bumper sticker that said:
"My other car is a piece of ****, too!"

Just find a bumper sticker maker who will make you one that says: "My other vehicle is an SVT Lightning"

I'd buy a couple!

How about one that says:

"You ought to be thankful I'm not in my Lightning!"

HEH HEH HEH ....

I still "thumbsup" the "L" when I am in the rental cars,
and I know those guys think I'm nuts ... Short of
driving to Peoria every week, it just is agravating to not have
Christine with me ...

Gotcha beat, 92' sentra w/ a beat to hell body. But I don't worry, most of the Lightnings in my area are completely clueless. I'll drive by them in my Lightning, blow the horn and they'll not see me or my truck. So I don't bother when in the car.

Oh well.

I pulled up next to a Black "L" like mine at a light..I was turning right ,he was going straight.( no race prompt or any thing)..I blow my horn ( I'm right next to this Dufus) No reaction,,I open my windoe and yell " Hey Man, nice truck" ( I'm in my "L") the Dufus gives me the finger....Go figure...

i get the same thing. when im out in my lightning, i dont see too many other lightnings, but when im in my 96 isuzu rodeo, i see them all over.

when im in my lightning, i honk and wave and they usually look at me like im crazy.

when my wife is in the lightning by herself, she always sees other lightnings and other "fast" cars, and they always race her. she always kicks their *** and its funny to see cause she is 25 years old, 5'4, 115 lbs and real hott!! and these are usually guys trying to hollar at her and she just smokes them!!

I can vouch for the fact that CaptI's hood was either a TJ Hooker practice car or the set for one too many **** movies...it has an unbelievable amount of scratches. I don't know how someone can do that.
