Denso - which plug to get??

I'm getting a bit scared running my TR-5's and am wondering if i'm better off going with the Denso Iridiums. I think it may be cheap insurance and may make me feel a bit better about not blowing up my truck!!! With my mods in my sig, which Denso would be best? Also, will this change if i go with a 6# pulley down the road?

6 lb.'s? Truck too slow...all you need is a chip and filter!

The IT20's work well with the 4lb
The IT20's do ok with the 6 but I would get IT24's

Weedo,I just got my IT20's this afternoon.I also have the special Snap-on 6" deep spark plug socket.I'm gonna install 'em Sun.I'll let you know how it works out.You can borrow it when you're ready.I think the $68 Denso deal was somewhere in Canada.Special order only.I got a deal from my buddy's father-in law[owns a machine shop]$8.95 ea.
let me know when you're ready!-Dave.

Let me ask another question.

Right this moment I have

Flipchip
Cold air intake
Deep Sump pan
Line valve mod

I have a 4# pulley on order (err backorder...)

Will I be in trouble if I try to run this setup on STOCK plugs, which is what I have now? anyone?

My 'stocks' were ok and got me into the 12s with a 3lber. When I junmped up to a 5lber, Sal recommended either the NGK BR7EFs or the Denso IT24s--gapped at .038".

Can you get me a set of the Denso's from your buddy's brother in law's fathers uncle too? If so, let me know, i'd like to get some. If not, no biggie, i think they're $90 otherwise but might as well save if i can.
Now, if i could only decide which ones. You went with the 20's, are you planning a 4#? I understand 16# is stock heat range...

Don't run the stock plugs when you get the 4# on or you will probably be in for some trouble. I'd at least get the NGK TR-5 or TR-6, even at that i'm going to go with the Denso's and replace my TR-5.

Stock is good for STOCK only![if that!]If I WERE going to do any mods, I would go to a colder plug even with a 2lb'er and a chip.20's are o.k. for up to 4lbs.5-6 should use 24's.
Just my opinion, but those of you who know me know why I'm on my 2nd "L" in 9 mos..and don't really want to post my mods online.
"big brother is watching!!!"

Just put in the Densos today.3rd time i've changed plugs. Took about 1 1/2 hrs.I didn't really try to hurry.took my time. The Snap-On deep socket really helped a lot!
Doesn't really seem to run much differently.Maybe a bit more responsive.
P.S.
My wife DUSTED some guy in an older Chevelle on the way home from chuch tonite!!LOL
She was really excited!

Nah, don't really NEED the special socket, but it helped a lot. It's a spark plug socket[with the rubber insert]that's about 7" long.
My buddy lives in Wisconsin and the Snap-On factory is located there. He knows a rep who got us the socket for" next to nothing".
If any of you local guys want to borrow it let me know.
