Transmission

I was wondering if anyone knows of a generation2 lightning with a manual transmission. I don't even know if it would be worth trying but I miss shifting gears. Thats my only dissappointment with my L.

Would it be worth it. What about speed performance.

I don't know if there's an aftermarket manual tranny that would fit in the L that could handle the torque.

Like iculokn said, it would have to probably be a custom job.

I'm sure a Tremec TKO would handle it, no sweat. So would a T-56, most probably. I'm sure somebody's done it somewhere, but I don't think it'd really be much of a benefit for most of us...
