Tried to see if my new electric fan comes on with the ac, but when I turn on the switch my as compressor doesn't engage. Checked fuses and relays, everything seems ok. Any ideas out there?

 

It's maybe leaked out the freon? Have it checked with guages first before trying to troubleshoot an electrical problem that may not be there. If it does have more than 70pounds or so at anbient temp. , then next thing to do is whack the low pressure cycling switch on the low side line and see if it somes on. Weve had a lot of those new little style switches sticking lately.
