stopped at a light, this morning. the guy next to me toots his horn.

him: hey, you better check your transmission fluid. when you took off from the last light, i could hear it "whining"

me: that was the supercharger whining, but i'll check just to be sure,, and thank you,, good citizen!

Mine only whines when in boost. Do you push it into boost from every light? And he didn't say a word about your squeeling tires?

she's got a 6lb lower and a 12" open filter, and starts her song as soon as i hit the gas. it's like a built in deer/dog repellent whistle, or something

 

I'm sure that anything/one in your path will jump back. My blower doesn't seem to be as loud as when new. The boost hasn't changed at all though so I know it's still pumping.
Any idea how fast your's is spinning with that 6# pulley?

 

Hehe, that's a classic. When I used to have the ATI Dominator D-1B on my 95, it screamed so loud at idle, you should have seen the stares I would get everywhere. People looking at you like somethings wrong with the truck, and then getting far away from you so they wouldn't be close when you blew up...or something.

 

someone made a pulley size/rpm chart, that i've seen on this list. my blower is new. got it with the intercooler program, or i probably would not be abusing it in this way
