Flex-a-lite fan kit

I saw a couple of the new Flex-a-Lite (model 270?) fans installed this last week. Couple of thoughts:

1) First off, I love my JDM fan, amazingly nice kit with everything done to look like stock.

2) The flex-a-lite definetly moved more air than the JDM kit. It also had a huge fan coverage area (essentially no shroud)

3)Flex-a-lite should be cheaper than JDM, not hard to do

4) control module was mounted on the fan with a temperature probe between the radiator fins. Not sure about AC switching

Overall a nice design. They said they were shipping out the first batch shortly, so if anyone is waiting on them, you should get em soon.

That Flex-a-lite fan is model #270 for the f150's.

Thats the one I'm getting.

Comes with the thermostat control, ac relay, and on/off switch, And will definately move enough air to cool the L.

Price from Jegs is $380

Sounds like a deal to me.

Do these directly bolt in? Or do you have to make your own brackets? Will these work w/the Cobra R water pump?

I saw the install too, it is a direct bolt on.. The water pump should make no difference as far as I know, since the fans are electric....Looks like a nice setup............JR
