also remember that you will launch harder and produce better times at a track.

I have a tazzo unit and it is fairly consistant. But I have rarely get times on the street that are equal or decently close to the the track. I noticed average I'm about .3-.5 quicker at the track.

Of course theres to many variables in that besides just street - different air and winds on different days, etc

I just got my lighting 12 days ago.. with over 1k miles on thus far (12.2 miles upon delivery) I'm suprised to hear someone say that they can't get rubber on the launch...

Thus far, my L is stock. I've ordered a whole slue of goodies from JDM, but right now, stock if I jam the right pedal down I'm smoking both rears all the way through first and a little through second on dry, clean streets.

I live in Wisconsin, so the temp is cooler now, that may play a part, but still... I have a G-tech also, and haven't visited the track yet to compare, but the G-tech had me at 5.81 0-60 and 13.93 at 103... so........................

The speed of the G-Tech is higher because it displays your actual speed at the end of the quarter mile, not the trap speed.

Best I've run with a g-tech is 13.7 @106 on the street, I've never been to a quarter mile track, but I've ran 8.53 on the 1/8th, which should put the 1/4mi time @ around 13.3-13.4

TRACTION makes all the difference, you should run faster at the track.

I asked this question about a year ago (g-tech accuracy). Almost everyone said if you had it set up right (level and pependicular to
the windsheild), it was within a tenth of what they got at the strip. MPH is always higher cause the gtech gives actual speed at the end of the quarter where at the strip you are given an average speed over the "trap" before the end of the quarter.

Speaking of track times, Mark you think you might show up at the track some time with the mods you have been or plan to put on you should be quick. It would be fun to get alot of Lightnings to show up at Palmer for a day of racing. If I am in town this summer I plan to be out there alot. See you there.
