The standard has been set. . .

I was doing a search today and stumbled on some quotes from two of the best information/product sources we have here on this message board. I have been kinda trashing the tuner-types lately because, quite frankly, these two set the standards of class, integrity, humility, and overall value of their products.

Here they are:

Ya know, people who are that happy about something I built just make me feel real good, screw the money, I'm glad I did something that made someone happy.

It's great when someone takes the time to tell you that they like your product. I really appreciate that.

G, I agree, sometimes, that's all it takes to make you feel like you have accomplished something.

Thanks to all my Truck-Traks customers.

I can't stress enough how badly I would like to see more folks like these two providing goods and services for our Lightning community (and for other vehicles, too!). These guys do for others without reservation because they care and they have a genuine interest in what they do. If you have a problem, they'll do anything (and I've heard some amazing stories about what these guys have done!!!) to make you happy. Now THAT is what I feel is worth whatever amount of money they want. This isn't an advertisement, just an example of what I feel and why I feel it. Should the best products be outrageously priced? No. Find me a better valve body or transmission than Factory Tech's. You won't. Find one person who has put Jays bars on and not noticed an improvement. You won't. Find one person who has delt with either of these two who walked away feeling like they got taken to the cleaners. You won't. But I'll bet money I can find inferior products, that cost way more, with no man or handshake behind the sale. So if it seems like I bash alot, it's because men like these raised the bar, and now it's time for the others to either rise or fall.

Later,

Excellent post WrongdayJ!!!

There is another vendor that should be recognized also . . . someone that is willing to drop $1000 to rent a track for a day for his fellow L owners. Someone that will tell you the real deal on their products Someone more concerned with customer service and satisfaction then making a quick buck . . . but I dare not whisper his name, for he be forever banished from this domain.

If you still have no clue who I am talking about, just look in my signature. To that man, I am eternally grateful...thanks for your wisdom and honesty buddy

Yes, I will never recommend anyone to anybody who's work I dont like. I owe alot to this "banished" guy.

BTW Nitro, I see you have met JJ. Still haven't seen you on the street. Someday , huh?

I've talked to Nitro quite a few times...this guy really seems to know his stuff, although I've never met him either. He'll probably be at JJ's house tomorrow...too bad I won't be able to make it.
