Is it the gaskets, or do you need to re-tighten the bolts? That's a fairly common problem from what I've seen on here. Once you've driven it a few times, it's heated and cooled, and they tend to get loose. Just re-tighten them once really good, like hit all the bolts in series, then again, then again. (like left upper, right lower, right upper, left lower, middles... then repeat.) Sometimes it seems that the bolts are all the way tight when the header hanging out a little caused you to think that.

If you have continual problems with them coming loose, get stage-8 locking header bolts. They have a little flange thingie that you put on 'em that keeps them from loosening. Summit sells 'em, I don't know which set would be good for our application, but somebody has to have posted it before, either here or on NLOC.

Try these Stage 8 locking header bolts Part# 8906. I will be putting these on when my Long tubes finnaly get here. I think I ordered them from Jegs. You could ask and see if they also have a copper or aluminum header gaskets.
