Pillar pods for 02

I read awhile back that folks where having a problem with fit on the 3 gauge pillar pod for the 02. If anyone has got one that fits properly could you post the type and where you got it.

2Ford2,

I have an '01 and was told that the '02's have a different style A-pillar cover and o-shyte handle than the '01's. Went to two dealers for service recently and saw one '02 with the old style covers and handle and all of the other ones had the new style A-pillar cover ('squared' handle and a 'scallop' in the cover where your hand goes through). The Lotek cover will work on the '02's because you don't use the original A-pillar cover - it replaces the whole thing and is held on with small sheet metal screws (had one and didn't like the way it fit - was too short and left a gap top and bottom). The Auto-Meter pillar pod attaches to the original A-pillar cover with small body-type push pins. If you're going the Auto-Meter route (which is what I suggest) than you're going to have to order an '01 A-pillar cover.
