I'm pretty sure there are some Lightnings running in the 10's already that most of us don't know about.

Are we talking 1/4 mile or 0- 60? I'm confused.

95 Saleen S351;

When I hear about 10 second R/T's I always get confused whether or not that's 0- 60 or 1/4 mile.

Let's go get that beer.

You guys know its possible, my one buddy has a supercharged 408 with some other **** done, ran 12.3 with 4 blown cylinders and no blower, he got it all fixed and is runnin 10# and i believe ran a 10.6, another guy with a yellow R/T called big bird has a supercharged R/T with some other stuff and nitrous ran low 11s i think just short of 10, and the other one i know of is a 408 R/T with twin turbo and he runs 10.4 i believe, and yes this is all 1/4 times, whether it sounds like bs to you guys or not, and speedtweaks is comin out with a twin turbo for the R/T by the end of this summer, they tested it on a dakota V6 and it ran low 13s, imagine what it will do with an R/T with other mods, it supposed to cost around 5k to, not bad for that much power, I'd be watchin out for R/Ts then if I were you guys hehe

What I want to know is, why you guys (meaning this board) dont mention Syclones and Typhoons in this discussion. Now, Im not trying to start a fight about which is better, I just saying that you ought to recognize that the SyTy's can kick some ***. A Syclone and a Typhoon have already broken into the 9's as well as many others in the 10's.

So what if there are so called trucks that can run faster in the 1/4 then a L. R/T's and Syclone's/Typhoon's weigh alot less than are L's and can not tow or haul as much as are L's. I will be running 11's soon I hope and 10's by end of summer and be able to drive the L every day and tow up to 5000 lbs. lets see a R/T or Syclone do that.

i was under the impression that this discussion was about speed (1/4 mi. times) not towing, that is why i mentioned the SyTys. But I completely agree with what you said about towing, that is one of the reasons Im selling the Ty for an L (the other being the warranty) but i was simply trying to say that you cant deny the fact that the SyTys are fast as hell.
