First time out this year

Well the weather finally let us in Northeastern Ohio get a few
passes in Saturday.
I am a little disappointed in the times I ran, as they are ALL
.2 to .3 slower than the last ones I got in the fall, but the
day was otherwise enjoyable.
My first pass on the new Hoosier 28 x 10 x 16's was an exciting one
to say the least. I did not heat them enough, and instantly went
up in smoke , got sideways, and ended up in a 2.231 60 foot time which ended in an et of 13.42
The next 5 passes I heated them in a cloud of smoke and was
able to manage 5 straight 1.94 60 foot times which gave me
5 straight 13.1 passes. ( best last fall was 12.8 at 109)
The snubber continues to work well on my truck, as it lifts on
launch and stays there.
All in all, with just the #2 pound pulley and chip, I should not
complain.
Oh yea, Shawn (WaddGT) was able to break into the 12's for
the first time. Way to go Shawn.
