I just called sears point to see if the track was still open. They said that its test and tune only from 4-7:30. What is test and tune? Do they actually drag or what?

Test is tune is just that
people take their machines down to the track to TEST them out
and then they TUNE them a bit and then TEST and TUNE and TEST and TUNE

Down in G-ville near me they let you pay like $10 bux and you go and see what you run in the 1/4.They also give you a timeslip.It is the safe way to race your friends other people etc.It's alot of fun.For some people it is for them to tune their cars to go faster for Friday nights.Dial in's

 

is 'informal' drag racin'. You get to run as often as you can line up. You usually run against whomever you pull up next to in the staging lanes but you usually can run against your buddy, etc. if you ask the stageing guy to let you.

No dial-in or bracket racing, just draggin' and braggin' .

Like everyone said .... But the first tiem I went
I had a ball running against Stang's and SS's
but no other lightnings. I am waiting for Brandon to
get his all together so I can go Whup his A$$
at Mountain Dragway here in KY.

Even had to were a helmet 'cause the Tech Guy said
"That beast should get below 14 and that's the rulz!!"
