I completed this survey today.
They do list a 5.4 with 450HP and 480 Foot pounds.
independent suspension, brembo brakes,club cab,six speed auto
6 speed paddle shift manual, stiffer suspension, cast V-10 500/500 naturally aspirated also aluminiunm V-10 500/500 naturally aspirated. 4.6 supercharged 425HP and 425 Foot pounds. They seem to be looking hard at a club cab and keeping the price under $40.000 with the the highest level of upgrades.
They are showing packages that would supossedly offer 12.3 second 1/4 miles and pull 85-90 g's on the skidpad.
They ask questions say Drag Racing vs. Roadracing.
Solid axle vs. independent rear.
club cab vs. standard.
6 speed maunal vs. 6 speed paddle mounted steering wheel shift
larger tire vs. current size.
Brembo vs. standard brakes.
blown vs naturally apsirated.
4.6 vs. 5.4 vs. 6.8 vs...I think it was 8.2..I may be wrong on displacement of the V-10..
I did notice no matter what configuration that the horse power went up from the current 380hp. The torque went up in all except the 4.6 blown option where it dropped to 425.
Base price seemed to be held @ 33,800 with 40,000 optioned.
I personally chose the 5.4 with the 450hp and 480 foot pounds. Figuring I could add on later. The brakes and suspension plus the upsize wheel options where basically what I would like to see.
They did ask for comments and I had plenty.
Beef up the tranny and nix the torque reduction.
Beef up the bottom end. Address the rod issue.
Traction control option.
Lower it 2/3 more.
Brembo brakes.
Fix the seat bolster problems.
Offer a hard tonneau as an option.
Address the front end alignment/slotted A-arm issue.
Upgrade the stereo.
Fix the PVC/oil in intake problems.
Piston slap/timing chain slap or whatever is happening to cause these things to self distruct needs immediate attention.
Own the Highway.
