Why do people even put those badges on? Dont they get tired of being asked ?'s and laughed at for "posing" as an L?
BTW Steven, just noticed the tailights on your NAV....looks sweet!

Cool

I saw a four wheel drive regular cab with nerf bars on the way home from work and guess what...it had harley badging lol.

It is only a matter of time before someone spots a supercrew/off road/lightning lol.

Question

Has anyone gone the other way?
Take the Lightning badging off and other mods to 'hide' what it is.
In the sixties, my uncle had a mopar and purposely swapped out the hood ornament. I think they had '440' or '383' on the ornament and he put on the base ornament for a slant six while he had the 440 under the hood.

kinda takes the point away from buying a real lightning if your just gonna make it look like a regular one. why not just buy an f250 with the v10 and add the novi blower? Do a swap on the tranny, and do a small few suspension upgrades and badbing...

Hey, I saw some IDIOT the other day that had a six cylinder fleet stripper F150XL, dropped it rediculously low and had -check this out- Lightning emblems, Cobra snakes, old school V8 emblems, and best of all- a Honda V-Tec emblem. No kidding.

Rice-Rice-Baby. . .I think this was Uncle Ben's own personal honey-bucket.

If I ever paint I will remove the emblems for ease of waxing if nothing else.I personally like the smooth look.If the L's emblems were stuck on and the Ford on the tail wasn't embossed they would be long gone.I don't have anything to prove anymore.
