As you will see in my sig I deal mostly with Sal at PSP, but do give the other TUNERS a chance on occasion!!!
Just REMEMBER, when ordering mods from any tuner, BE PATIENT, they're all REAL busy right now...begining of new race season!!!

Thanks for the info. I will be patient as the truck has plenty of power for me to get used to now. The previous owner had done a few mods already. Which tuner can give me a decent chip? I'm not going to race it so that's not important. Just want the extra h/p and torque. Also does getting rid of the factory air box make much of a difference? I traded in my 00 scab 4x4 and could tell the difference when I put the af-1 on it. Thanks

No matter what tuner I would start with a Cold Air kit, Lower pulley of your choice, and chip tuned...JDM & Sal do good mail order chips.

kschaper.

Since you live in Lake Villa, how about you join some of your fellow Illinois Lightning owners over at Byron Dragway on April 21st. There will be 30+ trucks out there and you can have a first hand look at what kind of parts are available and also get some valueable feedback from the owners on what works and what doesn't.

svtrobg, where in ill are you and where is byron dragway? I would like to meet some local guys. I have seen a few l's around my town. I wasn't sure I should do the pulley as well as the chip and intake. Which intake is the best?
