NED Mud bog and ice drags!!

Who else was completly disgusted last night at the way they have the track set up? How's driving your L through the mud lot to get in, then parking in a mud bog, then trying to get traction on a track as slick as ice! I did a couple hole shots in town afterwords and definitly had better traction on the street! Now my L looks like a farm vehicle with all the mud!

i just got back from ned and your right parking lot full of mud. truck looks like crap now. there wasn't that many people there today. only two full lanes then it died down. traction was horrible the best 60' on f1's was 2.2, and the best on et streets was 1.9. but i ran my best time so far 13.08@104.96 that was with the 1.9 60' time. #4pulley, JL chip, JL ram air, and et streets

The track wasn't as bad Sat morning as it was Friday night. My best 60ft on Friday night was 2.03, but on Sat. the VIP lane seemed ok were i started pulling 1.80 60ft times on F1's.

All in all for my first time racing, i am happy. My best run of the day was 13.28 @102.44, R/t .586, 60ft. 1.920.

That was acomplished by only a JDM flip chip and a Boost Bypass valve.

None of the Ls were hooking up Friday. The extended concrete surface was slippery as puppy s**t. The only way to get down the first 1/2 of the track was to feather/back pedal. Most 60's were in the 2.1-2.3 range, but most everyone's MPH was up. I was up early and it didn't look like the track had been rented out like usual (no traction compound).
The mud was messy.
The challenging part of the night was getting across the Tobin Bridge in Boston around 10:30 when it was covered with enough snow to make the F1's slide all over the place!
Hopefully the track will cure alittle and get stickier now that we have sun latter in the day.

Hey, it was cool meeting all you guys. Was my first trip up to NED but i didn't run my truck. Left it parked in the mud. By the time I left I swear the truck sunk all the way up to my rims!!!!!

Aaron....I missed you buddy!. You were parked down the end of the lot and i got half way to your truck and i think you left, cause I met up with Don and we couldn't find you. Might be taking the run to JDM with you guys this week.

Anyone see that guys hood come flying off....or that z06 who lost the *** end when he hit 3rd??? That was almost a mess be he recovered luckily.

Oh yeah, it definetely started to snow at one point!!!!

Hey guys I had a great time too, fomocofan sorry about the slow run i made in your truck. I t looks like I am heading to NJ tomorow to pick up my truck, so I will make you all proud this weekend.

Just remember it was the first day the track was open, and it was 33 degrees out, once it warms up all our times and the traction will improve. Also the mud will disapeer in a week or two, it was the same last year too.
