Best place to chrome OEM wheels

I want to get my OEM wheels chromed. Where's the best place to send them. I understand most places work on an exchange, so I require that this place deals in OEM as I'm not interested in replicas. Also if you have a $ amt, let me know. Will they ship first and then credit on receipt of wheels?

thanks

I just emailed them and was very surprised to get a response so quickly. However... They want $750 + exchange + shipping for a set of chromed 'replica' wheels. That's seems really steep, especially for replicas.

You have to look at it this way. many people have used Santa Anna to chrome their rims and the response has been mixed on their quality. I think they charge $500-600. I have heard you have to wait almost a month in some cases and some people have posted they have had to send their rims back due to poor quality. If you can keep your L on jacks and don't need it for a month or so, or have other rims then give them a try. people never put a dollar value on the aggrivation and the pain in the *** factor when dealing with a vendor. My .02.

I contacted them again, and they said they'll chrome my OEMs and center caps for about $750 all said and done. I'm going to send my wheels out asap.

if they quoted you 750 for replicas and 750 to do your oem wheels i would be warry of their business practices. get a few more quotes before sending them off.

Hi guys! I'm a long time lurker here (love the L) who never has anything to contribute. Until now.

I had my stock Supra rims chromed by California Chrome (www.calchrome.com). They did a fantastic job, the rims look perfect and the price was very reasonable. I know a few other Supra owners who have had very good luck with CalChrome.

I would plan on closer to 2 1/2 weeks of total downtime when you figure in shipping.

I'm having a local shop polish 1 of my sets of rims, under 300.00. I know it will be more work to keep looking good.
