Tested the new chip out.....WOOHOO!!

Well, I got my new chip on Tuesday, but didn't really get a chance to do much spirited driving in rush hour traffic, so I took her out last night...........WOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I can only imagine what your 12 & 11 second monsters feel like, but all I can say is I'm ecstatic with how much more responsive, and stronger the truck feels.

Ran a Black Steeda GT (DAYYUM THEY SOUND AWESOME) last night from about a 20mph roll. He stayed at my door till about midway thru 2nd. As my revs started nearing 3rd, I started to pull.........and as it shifted into 3rd, it felt like I put Nitrous on him or something; amazing shift. BYEBYE Stang!! Shut her down at about 90-95 or so, big thumbs up as he passed, and I returned it as well.

The part that kills me is, that I had passed a RICER CIVIC on previous highway like he was standing still, all the while you can hear his coffee can exhaust gasping for air. Later on, while cruising along at 60 or so, I see the Stang merge onto the highway, so I slow to start pacing him......enciting the battle. All of a sudden, RICER boy, back in the mix, nails it, while me and the Mustang are playing around a little.............This dumbass ricer boy is flooring it the whole time, as can be loudly heard. I bet he's posting somewhere that he took out a Lightning and a GT at the same time...............Guess he didn't realize we were only pacing ourselves till we passed the toll.

Anyways.......sorry for the long-winded msg. Now I can feel more confident about getting better times at the track in the near future.

NO FART between shifts anymore!!! I made sure the line pressure wasn't screwed around with too much, but I did have the shift points adjusted. I'll probably have some of the shift lightened up on the chip a little bit, once I get my F.T. Valve Body.

The only thing though, is that "shift" feeling between 2nd and 3rd is still present...............I don't know what it is, but in a previous thread, I think it says that it's the Torque Converter..............I guess that can't be avoided. Sounds kinda odd though.

Miami L,
It's not a Superchips.........it's a Diablosport......My office is very close to their facility.

Litnfast,
I don't think I'll be at Towers today.........I'll be in school tonight (UGH!!) Damn Finals and Projects!!! If I knew getting a Master's Degree would be this time consuming, I'd of stayed with only a Bachelor's............but only 4 more classes left!

I'll be out there next week though. If you make it to Tower's, talk to Paul (TZRider on this board) about the chip, and whatever else you may have in mind. He's very knowledgeable, EXTREMELY HELPFUL, and a hell of a nice guy. He owns the Boss Orange L......he is always out there.
