Thumbs down New F150 Redesign!

Got my automobile magazine today, and only part way through it to my horror I saw a picture of the redesigned f150. set for next summer, this design is supposed to "out tough" the new dodges. the redesign is grotesque. i hate the new dodge redesigns, but they look beautiful to this. they chose a horrid block styling, with quad lights, nothing smooth. this is horrid! i will without a doubt not purchase the redesign. if i need a truck ill probabley get a chevy, but odds are i'll get a svt cobra. also had a mustang redesign that is supposed to look tike a restyled 60's/70's stang, but just looks butchered. perhaps if these weren't just drawings they might look better, but I don't think either of these redesigns make me want to go out and buy a new one.

that sucks. hope they dont turn out as bad as you said they were. that would really suck if ford butchered the stang and the f series. i hope those drawings u saw dont too closely resemble what is coming out.

Let's hope they are like the F-19 Stealth Fighter. A scam to keep us of the scent of the real thing! Can someone post a pic?

I read somewhere that they were gonna
follow the "tonka" style .. is that what it looks
like? The squarish toys we loved as kids ?

what about the TONKA TAILGATE ? is it just the styling of it? or does it do something special? i really wanna c these drawings. can anyone find em on the net? perhaps on the magazine website? thanks.

woops, man u guys post fast here, in the time i typed this there is already a pic. well since that's done, would it be too much trouble to scan the article next to it about the engines and whatnot on the concept? thanks alot BTW what month's issue is that?

kinda looks like chevy headlights not too bad other than that, but i'd have to see the production version to really decide. hopefully it won't have the new expy front end. doesn't look right on a truck

the article next to it was for the mustang. all the engines will be carried over from prior models. they just said that release date is bumped from this fall to next summer. that and they are trying to compete with the new fugly dodges
